EXTRUSION
Our new 1800 ust short stroke direct press (Press 2) commissioned in January 2012 which produces profiles up to 230mm circumscribing circle with rapid order turnaround.
ALLOYS
AA6060, 6106 & 6351 are our standard alloys.
LENGTH
Our standard length range is 2000-6500mm. We are able to offer cut-to-length service from 10mm and extra long lengths to maximum of 14000mm upon enquiry.
SHAPES
Complex hollows & solids; thinner wall thickness to 0.6mm; tighter tolerances to +/- 0.15mm (on OD).
FINISHING
Anodising and powder coating to your specific requirements.

DELIVERY
Our normal lead time is 3-5 weeks from order for mill finish but we’ll always try to satisfy your more urgent needs (allow additional 2 weeks for anodising). We offer 7 to 10 day order turnaround for most profiles after die approval!
Delivery is free for Sydney and Central Coast for orders over 250 kg (please note, MOQ 250kgs).
MINIMUM LOTS
We are happy to receive your orders large and small – please note, the minimum order quantity is 250kgs. Profiles are not held in stock but are run to order.
DIES
Solid profiles – minimum $1800
Hollow profiles – approx $2300 – $4000 depending on complexity
Dies take approximately 5 weeks to be delivered onsite to Alushapes. Samples will then be run and dispatched within 2 weeks.
